I have a confession to make; I didn't like it. I'll admit that I was biased going into it as I had read a million reviews and I knew the plot from hearing people talk about it. I kept waiting for my mind to be blown and I kept waiting to care about the characters. Edward bothered me with his PMS, Bella acted a fool and has self-esteem issues (I am so clumsy, I'm not pretty, I'm not good enough, etc). Maybe it gets better in the next three books.
I liked the vampire names though--Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie are all great names.I liked how the modern kids had names like Jacob, Jessica and Mike.
Is it true that Bella and Edward name their vampire baby Renesme? I know it's a combo of Renee and Esme but that doesn't make it right.

um, yes, its true that they had a baby named that. *puke* But, I did like her middle name: Carlie. A mixture of Carlise and Charlie.
Emmet is on my short list for boys. I love it!
oh, and I think the last two books are the best, by far!
i wish i could still call you my friend..... I mean come on it is a book about vampires! what do you expect?!?!?! But, I knew you would appreciate the names. Do you know that there is a 'vampire' named Jane who inflicts pain?! yup, thats right. Dakota Fanning is going to play her in the movie!
hehe I love you, you make me laugh. I just read this post to Reyna and of course she knew right away what you were referring to. I really did not like the first book, but I loved the second one, maybe because Edward wasn't in it that much. Bella was annoying, I couldn't stand her
